DREME is a fast simulation method for integrated photonic devices. Waveguide eigenmodes are precomputed and stored as a dataset over key geometrical parameters. During simulation, modal information is retrieved from this dataset instead of being recalculated, enabling efficient and accurate modeling of complex photonic structures.
